The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday introduced a hotline to allow Bangladeshi expatriates lodge complaints about irregularities and corruption, reports UNB.

Expatriates can call +8809612106106 between 9:00am and 5:00pm Bangladesh local time.

On Wednesday, the ACC used the phone number of one of its officials for receiving complaints from expatriates.

In two days, the ACC received over a hundred complaints from expatriates in Australia, France, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Malaysia.

ACC said most of the complaints were related to land, shops, law and order, irregularities of travel agencies and Akama.

But these complaints are not under the ACC’s purview.
