PM Hasina orders state minister for info Murad Hassan to resign by Tuesday: Obaidul Quader

Prime minister Sheikh Hasina orders state minister for information Murad Hasan to resign from cabinet by tomorrow (Tuesday), said Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader on Monday in a press briefing.

A video of state minister Murad Hasan has gone viral on social media, where he has blatantly made indecent remarks about Zaima Rahman, granddaughter of Khaleda Zia.

Apart from this, Murad has made offensive remarks about the BCL women leaders of Dhaka University unit in another video livestreamed on Facebook.

People from all social strata including women rights activists have raised their voices against his derogatory comments about women.
