‘Robber’s’ bullet-hit body recovered

Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a suspected robber from Bancharampur area in Companyganj, Noakhali early Thursday, reports UNB.

The deceased was Haque Saheb, 38, son of Shamsul Haque of Bhuiyarhat village in Kabirhat upazila and accused in 10 cases including that of robbery and murder.

Asaduzzaman, officer-in-charge of Companyganj police station, said a patrol team of police found Haque as bullet-hit-condition in early morning and took him to Noakhali General Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The law enforcement’s versions of the events were, however, not verified independently as no versions of those incidents were available immediately either from any witnesses or from any members of the victims’ families.
