Forex reserves hit record high of over $45 billion

The country’s foreign exchange reserves today hit a new record of over $ 45 billion despite Covid-19 pandemic.

The foreign exchange reserves now stands at $45.11 billion, according to Bangladesh Bank sources.

On 8 October, last year, the reserves reached $40-billion mark and subsequently on 24 February this year the reserves exceeded $44 billion.
