Tax return submission deadline extended till 31 Dec

The National Board of Revenue has extended the deadline for income tax return submission by one month.

Tax returns can be submitted till 31 December, NBR chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem told journalists at NBR office in the capital on Monday.

Earlier on Sunday, the NBR chairman told a press conference that the deadline for submitting income tax returns would not be extended beyond 30 November.
