City Bank celebrates birth centenary of Bangabandhu

City Bank has celebrated the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due solemnity.

Marking this occasion, directors of the bank Hossain Mehmood, Syeda Shaireen Aziz and managing director and CEO Mashrur Arefin, additional managing director Sheikh Mohammad Maroof and over 600 officials stand in front of the bank’s head office wearing the special T-shirt with logo of ‘Mujib Borsho’ and special hand-held placards exhibiting the same.

The event took place from 10:00am to 10.10am on 18 March 2020, says a press release.

This was followed by a cake cutting ceremony held at the bank’s Board Room by the directors of the bank and senior officials.

There was a similar arrangement at the same time in all branches of the bank across the country.
