City Bank stands by DMP for educational scholarship

City Bank recently donated Tk 1 million as contribution towards education scholarships for meritorious and financially insolvent children of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) members. Sohail RK Hussain, managing director and CEO of the bank, handed over a cheque of this amount to Md. Assaduzzaman Mia, Commissioner, DMP.

Expressing his gratitude, Md. Assaduzzaman Mia said “City Bank and DMP have a good partnership for quite a long time. We believe the relationship will be strengthened further from today. DMP will continue to work with City Bank for the progress of the state and society. I am grateful to the board of directors of the bank for providing this donation.”

Sohail RK Hussain said “Our bank is actively working for the society’s welfare and education is our highest priority. We are delighted to provide this donation to DMP’s educational scholarship. We will continue our support in the future.”

Abdul Wadud, DMD, City Bank, Md. Shahabuddin Qureshi, Additional Commissioner, DMP and senior officials from both the organisations were present on the occasion.
