Banglalink, PriyoShop ties up to enhance rural e-commerce

Banglalink, the country’s mobile operator, on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PriyoShop.com to facilitate rural e-commerce in the country.

Ritesh Kumar Singh, chief sales officer of Banglalink, Rashed Moslem, head of e-business of Banglalink, Md Ariful Hoque, eBusiness Manger of Banglalink, Sonia Bashir Kabir, chairperson of PriyoShop.com, Ashikul Alam Khan Shujon, managing director of PriyoShop.com and other high officials of the two organisations were present at the programme.

Under the agreement, Banglalink and PriyoShop.com will work in collaboration to promote digital literacy and strengthening the delivery infrastructure of rural areas. PriyoShop.com’s customers will be able to receive their delivered products from Banglalink’s Touch Points at remote areas of the country.

Furthermore, Banglalink customers will be able to purchase Banglalink’s products and services along with availing exclusive discounts at PriyoShop.com.
