City Bank launches City Bike Loan

City Bank recently announced the launch of City Bike Loan for motorbike buyers for the first time in Bangladesh. In order to facilitate the ever increasing demand for the two-wheelers, the bank has introduced City Bike Loan services, which will be initially offered through the dealers of the bank in Dhaka city. The best thing about the loan is the customers will not have to visit any branch of the bank and can avail this facility through their virtual credit cards.

Under this facility, a buyer may get a loan up to 80% of the maximum motorcycle cost. Maximum 24 months of installment will be available for repayment of the loan. Women buyers will get special discount on interest. Managing director and CEO of City Bank Sohail RK Hussain announced the official launching of City Bike Loan at a function at the bank’s head office, where dealers of Dhaka metropolitan area were introduced to the product.

Sohel RK Hussain said, ‘Day by day the demand for motorbikes is increasing. People want to reach their destination quickly at affordable costs. Even our neighboring countries have similar trends. That is why, in order to fulfill this growing demand, we have decided to come up with the bike loan for the first time in Bangladesh.’
The bank’s head of retail banking Md. Arup Haider, head of two-wheeler loan Mohammad Mozammel Haque and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
