A legal notice has been served on ride-sharing service 'Pathao' on charge of irregularities, reports UNB.

Tanjim Al Islam, a Supreme Court lawyer, on behalf of Afzal Hossain, a resident of West Sheurapara in the city, sent the notice to Pathao Limited, Pathao chief executive and Chief Technology officer on Wednesday.

According to the notice, when Afzal Hossain wanted to know the fare from Bangla Motor to Sheorapara the Pathao app showed it Tk 105. But when he reached his destination the driver of the ride-sharing service demanded Tk 173 from him which he had to pay.

He also said that Pathao takes money from its customers illegally through its drivers. He also wanted action against the Pathao drivers.
If the company fails to respond to the notice, legal action will be taken against it, said the notice.
