Banglalink launches 014 series

Mobile phone operator Banglalink has announced the official launch of its new number series 014 on Thursday, reports UNB.

Jahurul Haque, acting chairman of Bangladesh Telecom and Regulatory Commission, attended the launching event as the chief guest and made the inaugural call to posts, telecommunications and information technology minister Mustafa Jabbar from a new series number, at its head office Tiger's Den in the city's Gulshan area.

Banglalink’s chief executive officer Erik Aas, chief corporate & regulatory affairs officer Taimur Rahman, chief commercial officer Ritesh Kumar Singh and other high officials of the organisation were present at the ceremony.

Banglalink pre-paid users having 019 number series will get new 014 series SIM cards for free after completing the NID verification, and enjoy 54p/min call rate for calls between those two numbers for lifetime.

In addition, upon recharging Tk 48 for the first time, customers can call to any operator at 1p/sec rate for 90 days. Furthermore, they will get an instant 1GB free data offer.

Banglalink SIM cards with 014 number series will be available at all Banglalink customer care centers and service points across the country.
