'Asahi Eito' in Bangladesh promising better services

'Asahi Eito', a 300-year-old Japanese ceramic manufacturing company, has recently started its journey in Bangladesh.

The company said its products would be available in the country soon.

"From today we started our journey in Bangladesh. Hopefully our products will be available to customers soon and they will like it,” Asahi Eito's global president Koji Machimoto said at the opening ceremony at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in the city on Monday.

Tsubasa president Masahito Shimizu said, “We have introduced branches in Bangladesh to reach customers quickly. We did not just come to sell; our goal is to ensure quality services to our customers.”

Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh Hiroyasu Izumi, who spoke there as chief guest, said Japan is the top investor in Bangladesh. “On that perspective, I welcome Asahi Eito on the beginning of its journey in Bangladesh,” he added.

RAJUK's director for development town planner Md Ashraful Islam, Tsubasa’s overseas division general manager SM Owasiul Islam and senior manager Md. Faisal Ahmed Bhuiyan, and Asahi Eito’s distributor Maruf Rahman Ratul and Abu Hurayra also attended the programme which was followed by Japanese music show and dinner.
