BRAC Bank has introduced a customised Student File Service to ease the hassle of fund transfer for higher studies in abroad.

The service is aimed to ensure fast processing and conversion of currencies for admission and tuition fees, living expenses and other expenditure necessary for smooth overseas study.

In a recent interactive session with consultancy agencies the bank authorities have shared its idea and design of the service to realise the potential of Bangladeshi students and therefore sought to help them perform their financial transaction easily as a financial institution.

The bank has set up dedicated Student File desks at selective branches in Dhaka, Chattogram and Sylhet. The students can avail the service in all 187 branches across the country, too, said a media release.

The Student File Service includes facilities such as same day issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC), quick and easy overseas money transfer, lower processing fee and travel card for the students.

BRAC Bank has recently organised an interactive session with Students Consultancy Agencies to circulate about the service. The purpose of the session was to work together to provide seamless service to the students and their families for overseas studies.

The bank’s deputy managing director and chief operating officer Md Sabbir Hossain said, “We think education is the biggest investment in life. So, this reminds us of our responsibility to serve even better to give a delightful start of the overseas study life.”

“Beside the Student File Service, we want to serve the students with all banking services throughout their life. We will explore partnership with the agencies to find out as to how we can improve the overseas study experience in future,” he added.
