BRAC Bank hosts ‘Meet the Experts’ session with leading RMG entrepreneurs

BRAC Bank has recently organised a knowledge-sharing session with the leading entrepreneurs of readymade garments (RMG) industry of Bangladesh at the Bank’s Head Office in the capital.

The session, titled ‘Meet the Experts’, was a part of an initiative of BRAC Bank to enlighten its officials on contemporary market issues from the industry experts.

Prominent industrialists of the country Miran Ali, managing director, Bitopi Group and director, BGMEA and Sharif Zahir, managing director, Ananta Group and director, BGMEA joined the session on 19 October, said a press release.

Both Miran Ali and Sharif Zahir are renowned spokespersons on RMG issues in Bangladesh and attended numerous seminars, panel discussion, media briefing on the industry.

They shared their valuable thoughts and real life experiences in the industry and the way forward of the sector in Bangladesh.

Having sizeable exposure in the RMG sector, BRAC Bank is committed to play a facilitating role in further expansion and growth of the sector, the largest export earning sector of the country.

Chowdhury Akhtar Asif, deputy managing director and CRO, Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, head of corporate banking, BRAC Bank, along with senior officials of the bank also participated in the programme.
