Novoair was awarded the “Domestic Airline of the Year- 2019”. It also won the “Best Customer Friendly” airline trophy.
Novoair was recognised as the best domestic airline and customer friendly airline at “Monitor Airline of the Year-2019” event at a city hotel recently.
Novoair managing director Mofizur Rahman received the awards from Qatar ambassador to Bangladesh, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Dehimi.
Novoair also was awarded with Silver trophy for on time performance and Bronze for inflight service.
The award was awarded based on the online survey of regular passengers organized by the prominent travel and tourism publication “The Bangladesh Monitor”.
Mofizur said this recognition will encourage them in the future.
Novoair introduced mobile app frequent flyer program ‘Smiles’ and web check-in facility for a hassle-free ticket purchase and check in process, he added.
Novoair currently operates 28 flights per day. It is operating six flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, six flights to Cox's Bazar, five flights to Saidpur and five flights to Jashore.
It also runs two flights to Sylhet, two flights to Barishal, one flight to Rajshahi and Kolkata.
