Short film fest begins in city

The Dhaka show of ‘Chittagong Short Film Festival’ began in the capital’s Bangladesh National Museum BNM on Saturday.

Chittagong Short Films for Humanity organised the show in association with BNM, Dainik Azadi, CA Property Development Limited and Barcode aiming to introduce the works of the young filmmakers to the world.  

Information minister Hasanul Haq Inu inaugurated the film show as chief guest.

A total of 15 short films, including nine foreign films, five Bangla films and a silent film will be screened in the festival.

The five-day film show will remain open till 8 February.
