Shuvoo to star in Arindam Sil's next

Actor Arifin Shuvoo will star in Tollywood director Arindam Sil's upcoming film 'Balighar'. The actor himself confirmed signing the contract Thursday.

The shooting of the film might start in March, said Shuvoo.

Arindam Sil will make an official announcement about the cast and crew of the film at a press conference in Dhaka on 20 January. The cast may also include Bangladesh actresses Nusrat Imroz Tisha and Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed.

Though 'Balighar' would be a joint venture, the members of the preview committee for a joint production work are yet to be named. So, issues on making and production of the film are still unclear and should be clarified at the press conference.

On the other hand, Sil said over phone, Shuvoo had signed the contract since long, "We kept it a secret for some reasons at that time" he added.

When asked whether Tisha and Nowshaba would star in the film, he said, it would be inappropriate to share these before the conference.

"We will disclose everything before everyone on Saturday's conference", Sil said.

Earlier, Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan made her debut in India's Kolkata with Sil's 'Aborto' that brought her much acclaim.
