The film 'Nolok' has only four or five days' filming left. After that, it will be ready for post-production work.

In the meantime, producer of the film, Sakib Irteza Chowdhury, replaced its director Rashed Raha with Iftekhar Chowdhury.

Rashed Raha, who claims to have completed 85 per cent filming of the Shakib Khan starrer 'Nolok', told Prothom Alo, "A film is like a child to a filmmaker. Replacing me from 'Nolok' is like snatching the film from me."

"Around a month ago, Sakib Irteza Chowdhury phoned me and said that Iftekhar Chowdhury will now direct the remaining part of the film. It was like a bolt from the blue for me," he added.

The cast and crew of 'Nolok' including Omar Sunny, Moushumi, producer Sakib Irteza Chowdhury and newly appointed director Iftekhar Chowdhury, among others, are now in Kolkata for the shooting.

When contacted about Rashed Raha, producer of the film Sakib Irteza Chowdhury said, "From now, I'm the director of the film. I have been in charge of the film's shooting from the beginning."

When asked why Rashed Raha was introduced to the media as the director of the film during its launch, and also that he completed most its shooting, Sakib Irteza Chowdhury said, "Rashed Raha didn't carry out his responsibilities properly as a director. I had to do everything. I'll elaborate this after I return to Dhaka on 25 July."
