Celebrating Eid with insolvent BFDC artistes

Actress Pori Moni planned something special to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha, so did film actors' platform Bangladesh Chalachitra Shilpi Samity.

A total of six cattle will be slaughtered this year by Pori Moni and Chalachitra Shilpi Samity on the premises of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation for insolvent and destitute artistes.

Pori Moni came to talks in 2016 when she stood beside the helpless artistes and crew of the BFDC by gifting them a cow on Eid-ul-Azha.

Since then, she has been sharing her Eid joys with the BFDC's destitute artistes.

The Dhallywood actress who will slaughter three cows this year for the BFDC artistes told Prothom Alo, "I'll slaughter sacrificial animals at BFDC till the end of my days."

Chalachitra Shilpi Samity has recently been helping the BFDC's helpless artistes by donating cash money, fine rice, and other stuffs for celebrating Eid with them. Following this trend, the platform will slaughter three cows on BFDC premises.
