Actrss Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed is set to make a comeback to acting after days in troubled waters. She will be seen on the small screen in Faijul Rakhi’s drama ‘Palatak Muhurta’ (Fleeting Moment).
Nawshaba acted in a good number of TV projects and films, especially earning plaudits for her role as the wife of a police officer in ‘Dhaka Attack’.
‘Palatak Muhurta’ will be the first time she will appear before the camera since her release from jail. On 21 August she was picked up by the law enforcement for 'spreading rumours on Facebook' during the student protests across the country demanding safe roads.
Nawshaba will play the role of a businessman’s wife in the drama, based on a story by Sharif Sujan, while Sajal will play her husband.
The drama, also featuring Habib Bahar, Indrani Ghatak, Mukul Abdul Quaiyum and Sutapa Barua, will be shown on NTV at 9:05pm on Friday.
