Sarika wants to make a comeback
She started with modelling and then went on to acting after three years of her first television advertisement.
Sarika Sabrin has been a popular model and actress for almost 10 years.
In the midst of her career, Sarika took a two-year hiatus from the small screen. The once prominent model-turned-actress has expressed her wish to come back to work once again, putting all bitterness behind her.
The actress posted a status on her Facebook on Sunday night that reads, “Sorry is a just five-letter word. But I am apologising to my colleagues, family, friends and relatives and to all my well-wishers. If I ever hurt anyone knowingly or unknowingly, please forgive me...there is no limit to learning. Let’s forget all the ill feelings and start over.”
“I had to go through a lot over the past few months. I am a bit stable now. I was also preparing my daughter for school. She is ready now. I will start shooting for TV ads and dramas once she starts her school from next week,” the actress told Prothom Alo on Monday.
Sarika stepped into small screen in a TV play based on Rabindranath Tagore’s poem Camellia directed by Ashutosh Sujan in 2010. She decided to work on the play, inspired by her mother who is big admirer of Rabindranath.
