Mahbub is an independent-minded young man. He is from a lower middle-class family, but he is intelligent and determind to become successful with his hardwork.

When everyone is running behind a job, Mahbub chose freelancing as a career. This created distance between him and the society, even his near and dear ones, including his girlfriend Raisa.

Will Mahabub be able to overcome the odds? The short-film 'Outsourcing O Bhalobashar Golpo' is based on such a story by Rahitul Islam.

The shortfilm was shot in Dhaka on 13 October. Afran Nisho plays the role of Mahbub while Tanzin Tisha stars as Raisa in the project, which is based on a novel of the same name by Rahitul.

Noted director Mabrur Rashid Bannah made the short-film.

"I really liked doing this work. Only two scenes covered the whole story of the film, but they were full of information," said Tisha.

Dhruv Guha, Head of the Dhruba TV YouTube channel, said, "Such a story will actually show the young people of our country a path to become self-reliant. These stories about the people who are making Bangladesh proud really deserve plaudits. The story of the freelancing profession seemed great to me. I hope you will also like it."

Writer Rahitul Islam said, "Many youths have changed their lives by taking freelancing as a profession. But the social recognition of this profession is not visible yet. Whereas outsourcing as a profession is considerably better than government or non-government jobs as there is a lot of freedom. The novel is based on a true story. It is taken from the life of a freelancer named Mahabub."

The short film will be uploaded on the Dhruba TV YouTube channel on Wednesday, 31 October at 6:00pm. To watch, please visit http://bit.ly/dhrubatv
