Mithila in an exclusive interview with Prothom Alo has talked about her career, work and other things.

Excerpts from the interview:

Prothom Alo: How’s your role in ‘Obosheshe Bhalobese’?
Mithila: I am playing a cheerful small-town girl Ira. She is in a relationship with Arko, who lives in Dhaka. Arko and Ira try run away, but Ira loves her father too much to leave home. That's basically the plot of the film.

Prothom Alo: This is your first web film. How did it feel?
Mithila: Tt was shot exactly how a film is shot. The same camera and direction. The budget was also relatively high. There is a song in the film. It took four days to shoot a 35-minute film. There was no rush to finish the filming like TV dramas.

Prothom Alo: Will you work in mainstream movies?
Mithila: It feels as if I was born to work in films. Every artiste dreams of working in films. I also have such dream. But I have a full-time job. It takes minimum 40 to 50 days to complete movie, from shooting to release. It is quite hard to manage time for an actor with a full-time job. However, it is my dream to act in at least one film during my career with a good director.

Prothom Alo: A telefilm and a short film of yours were released during Valentines. How did the audience respond?
Mithila: The telefilm ‘Prothom Prem’ was aired on Bangla Vision. And the name of the shortfilm was ‘Jogyota’. Audiences liked them both. I received very positive reviews. Audiences especially showered me with compliments after the telefilm was uploaded on YouTube.

Prothom Alo: Several TV and cinema actors are acting in web films nowadays. What's your opinion about that?
Mithila: It's all about keeping pace with the changing world. Web films are the global format of cinema. The storylines, budget and filming are relatively better. It is a way to introduce our work to the world.

Prothom Alo: Whose acting talents fascinate you?
Mithila: Jaya Ahsan, Aupee Karim, and Nusrat Imrose Tisha.

Prothom Alo: Are you in love?
Mithila: I don’t think so.
