3 Hollywood films to hit Star Cineplex Friday

Three Hollywood movies are set to be released at Star Cineplex in Dhaka on Friday.

The movies are -- Men in Black: International, The Secret Life of Pets 2 and Toy Story 4.

F Gary Gray directed ‘Men in Black: International,’ the fourth instalment of the comic book adaptation Men in Black franchise, is released after seven years of the third instalment.

In the earlier instalments of the science fiction franchise, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones played the roles of ‘Agent J’ and ‘Agent K’. But Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson appear as protagonists in the fourth instalment of the popular film.

After being recorded as a blockbuster hit with a cumulative worldwide gross of over $875.5 million in 2016, it was only normal for the director and producing companies of ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ to decide to make a sequel of the animated movie.

Since its initial release on 24 May this year in Ireland, The Secret Life of Pets 2 directed by Chris Renaud and produced by Universal Pictures and Illumination, has grossed $113.4 million in the box office.

Much acclaimed actor Harrison Ford has played his first ever voice over role in an animation movie, a treat for the viewers of The Secret Life of Pets 2.

On the other hand, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Pictures have brought Toy Story 4, the fourth instalment of adventure animation franchise Toy Story, after nine years.

Josh Cooley has directed the latest part of the film that earned a huge popularity among the cinema goers in all three instalments.
