Andrew Kishore undergoes treatment in Singapore

Bangladesh’s renowned singer Andrew Kishore was admitted to Singapore General Hospital as he had been suffering from kidney and hormone related complications.

Earlier on 8 September this year, Andrew Kishore received Tk one million from prime minister Sheikh Hasina as financial assistance for his treatment.

With wife and another singer Jahangir Sayed, the singer left Dhaka on Monday.

The artiste recorded thousands of songs for hundreds of films as a playback singer.

His famous songs include "Jibaner galpo achhe baki olpo", "Amar shara deho kheyo go mati", "Dak diyachhen doyal amare", "Bhalobese gelam shudhu", "Amar buker moddhey khaney", “Amar babar mukhey prothom jedin," and "Bhengechhe pinjore".
