Cinematographer Mahfuzur Rahman no more

Celebrated cinematographer Mahfuzur Rahman Khan died at a city hospital of Dhaka early Friday.

He was 70.

Mahfuzur Rahman breathed his last at the United Hospital around 12:26am, said organising secretary of Bangladesh Film Directors Association Kabirul Islam Rana.

Mahfuzur, the nine-time National Film Award winner, fell sick on 25 November and was admitted to Green Life Hospital.

The namaz-e-janaza of Mahfuzur Rahman was held at Chawkbazar Shahi Mosque after Juma prayers.
