Light rain likely across the country

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions and the regions of Jashore and Kushtia in the next 24 hours till 6:00pm on Thursday.

Weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country, said Met Office.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places in the country during late-night to morning.

Mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Panchagarh and Jashore and it may abate.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly across the country.

Country’s highest temperature 28.5 degree Celsius was recorded on Wednesday in Dhaka and the lowest 09.2 degrees in Tetulia.
