Mild heat wave is continuing over Khulna division and the regions of Faridpur, Gopalganj, Kutubdia, Rajshahi, Pabna and Dinajpur and it may spread, said a met office release on Wednesday.

The met office also forecast that rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9:00am tomorrow, reports BSS.

Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded 38.2 degree
Celsius at Rajshahi while the lowest one was recorded today 22.2 degrees Celsius in Tentulia.

The highest rainfall was recorded for the last 24 hours till 6:00am today was recorded 41 millimetres in Sylhet.
