Rain likely on Tuesday

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.

It may occur at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Syhlet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24 hours till 6:00pm tomorrow (Tuesday).

Mild heat wave is sweeping over Syhlet and Rangpur divisions and the regions of Rajshahi, and Bogura, and it may abate at some places.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country while the rain and thundershowers is likely to continue with little changes, said Met office.

The country’s highest temperature 38.4 degree Celsius was recorded on Monday in Dinajpur and the lowest 25.0 degrees in Rangamati.
