Cold wave predicted in Dec

UNB . Dhaka | Update:

A mild cold wave is likely to sweep over the country in December.

“Temperature may range from 8 to 10 degree Celsius,” during the mild cold spell, Abdul Mannan, meteorologist of Met office said.

He also predicted that mild to severe cold spell of 6 to 10 degree Celsius is likely in January.

Meanwhile, the monsoon has already been withdrawn from Bangladesh region on 14 October.

“The winter that is likely to commence in December, would continue till February”, Mannan said “this year the average minimum temperature during this winter is likely to be normal.”
