The daytime temperature in Dhaka and its neighbourhood may remain nearly unchanged on Friday, forecasted Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

“The day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and weather may remain dry over the area,” reads a weather bulletin by the met office.

It also said light to moderate fog may occur at places in the area.

The wind speed will continue between 6 and 12/kph.

Earlier, another weather bulletin by the BMD said a mild cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Kurigram, Nilphamari, Jashore and Chuadanga districts, disrupting normal life and causing suffering, especially for children and the elderly.

The cold wave is likely to spread to few more districts and would stay until Saturday, the met office said on Thursday.
