Mild tremor jolts Sylhet

A mild earthquake shook different parts of Sylhet in the early hours of Thursday, reports news agency UNB.

The tremor, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, was felt around 12.18 am, said Ganesh Chandra Das, senior officer of local Met office.

However, there was no immediate report of any damage or casualty.

The epicenter of the tremor was in Manipur State of India.
