Worldwide coronavirus cases cross 19.65m, death toll at 725,334

More than 19.65 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 725,334​ have died, according to a Reuters tally.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The following table lists the top 50 countries by the number of reported cases. A complete list is available with the above links.

United States still tops in the rank with 162,105 deaths and 5,014,339 cases followed by Brazil with 100,477 deaths and 3,012,412 cases, India with 42,518 deaths and 2,088,611 cases, Russia with 14,854 deaths and 882,347 cases, South Africa with 10,210 deaths, Mexico with 52,006 deaths, Peru with 20,844 deaths, Colombia with 12,540 deaths, Chile with 10,011 deaths and 371,023 cases, United Kingdom with 46,566 deaths, Spain with 28,503 deaths.
