Eid moments at the zoo

Most people have left Dhaka to spend Eid at their village homes or elsewhere. Families who have stayed back in the capital, have been visiting various recreation spots of the city.

On the second day of Eid-il-Fitr, crowds thronged the Mirpur zoo, despite the hot weather.
Children were especially thrilled to see all the different kinds of animals there. Tigers and lions are normally the main attaction at the zoo, but these big cats where rather lethargic. The birds, though, were lively.
Here are selected moments of the day clicked by Prothom Alo.
