Dan Cake Dessert Genius regional round concludes

The last regional selection round of Dan Cake Dessert Genius 2018 ended in Dhaka on 4 October, said a press release.

The two-day selection process, held at Golden Tulip Hotel, had 154 participants taking part.

A total of 36 participants received YES Cards to participate in the studio round from the regional selection rounds held at Mymensingh, Bogura, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Comilla, Chittagong and Dhaka.
The Studio Round of the competition will start on October 13 while the final Gala Round will be held on October 19.

The champion will be crowned the ‘Dan Cake Dessert Genius 2018’ and will win a trip for two to Denmark.
Chef Afroza Naznin Shumi, Nafiz Islam Lipi and Mahbuba Chowdhury were the judges of the Dhaka round.

Dan Cake chief operating officer Firoz Ahmed, director Khandker Md Touhiduzzaman, head of marketing Minhaj Hossain and Nawazish Ali Khan, adviser (programme) of ATN Bangla, were present on the occasion.
