Bangladesh reports 43 more virus deaths, 3809 new cases in 24 hrs

Forty three more patients died of coronavirus and 3,809 people were newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

Additional directorate general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Nasima Sultana disclosed this while presenting a health bulletin on coronavirus on Sunday.

She also said as many as 1,738 people have died of coronavirus while 137, 787 people have been infected so far.

A total of 18,099 samples were tested and of them, a total of 3,809 samples were found infected with coronavirus.

A total of 730,197 samples have been tested so far.

The government has marked red, yellow and green zones and has imposed lockdowns again in some areas at different districts.

Bangladesh first detected coronavirus on 8 March and a patient first died on 18 March.
