The footpath between the capital`s Banani and Nikunja area on Dhaka airport turns gloomy in the evening as there is no walkway lights there. Earlier on 5 January, a Dhaka University student was raped in the area. Without taking any security measures or arranging lights, the concerned authorities just hang up a cautionary sign there.
