BTRC blocks 176 gambling sites

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has blocked 176 gambling websites in Bangladesh, reports UNB.

Emdadul Haque, general secretary of Internet Service Providers' Association of Bangladesh, told UNB on Sunday night that they blocked access to the gambling websites in the afternoon following BTRC's directives.

Earlier on Thursday, the telecom regulator blocked 1,279 porn sites in the country.
