Galaxy S20 phones up for pre-order in Bangladesh

The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S20 series is finally available in Bangladesh for pre-booking.

Samsung Bangladesh launched two handsets of the series -- Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra -- on Thursday, says a press statement.

Both the smartphones can be pre-ordered from Samsung's official stores and online through www.s20preorder.com from 20 February to 14 March.

The 6.7-inch Galaxy S20+ and the 6.9-inch Galaxy S20 Ultra are offered at a price of Tk 99,999 and Tk 129,999 respectively, it adds saying that the Galaxy S20+ will come in Cosmic Black and Cloud Blue, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra will come in Cosmic Grey and Cosmic Black.

Upon pre-order, customers will get either a pair of free Galaxy Buds+ or Tk 10,000 cash back, according to the press release of Samsung Bangladesh.

The press release also highlights the features of both the posh gadgets.

The Galaxy S20+ has a 64 mega pixel primary camera while S20 Ultra has a 108 mega pixel primary camera.

One of the unique features of S20 Ultra camera is the ability to use the telephone lens to get up to 100X Zoom. With a larger image sensor available on the Galaxy S20 series, camera resolution has been increased significantly, for more detailed images with added flexibility for editing, cropping, and zooming.

The Galaxy S20 series also offers 8K video shooting, the first of its kind, so that users can capture their world in true-to-life colour and quality, the press release says.

Each phone comes with 128GB of storage by default, which can be expandable via microSD. Galaxy S20+ has 8GB of RAM and powered by 4,500mAh battery, whereas Galaxy S20 Ultra has 12GB of RAM and is powered by 5,000mAh battery.

Samsung Bangladesh said in the press release that it is providing up to 18 months of EMI for Galaxy S20+ and up to 24 months of EMI for Galaxy S20 Ultra. EMI available on cards from selected Banks. Grameenphone is offering 24 months of EMI on both the devices.
