Bangladesh have thrashed Pakistan by 37 runs to book final berth with defending champions India to be played in Dubai on Friday, with an opportunity to win the continental title for the first time, reports AFP.

Tigers’ skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza praised an all-out effort, despite missing star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan through injury out of the six-team tournament, the AFP added.

“The bowlers did a good job, especially when we didn’t get the runs,” Mashrafe was quoted to have said.

“But Mushi and Mithun batted really well and got us to a fighting total,” Mashrafe was quoted.

“We are proud of our fielding today. For a long time we haven’t seen this quality of fielding in our team, so hopefully the boys can understand the value of good fielding.”
