First session of second day washed away

The entire first session of the day two game of the second Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan was washed out due to rain and bad light on Sunday, reports BSS.

After inspecting the ground for several times, the umpires called off first session game, taking an early lunch.

The play will resume after lunch if weather permits.

The bad light and rain also interrupted the game on day one, allowing just two sessions of play.

Pakistan by then reached 161-2 after recovering from an early trouble.

Skipper Babar Azam was batting on 60 with Azhar Ali on 36 after putting on 91-run for the third wicket stand.

Bangladesh left-arm spinner Taijul Islam picked up both the wickets conceding 49 runs.
