Tigers face Pakistan for spot in Asia Cup final

Bangladesh will play unpredictable Pakistan in a virtual semifinal of the Asia Cup in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday eying to reach the final.

The Super Four stage game of the six-nation tournament will begin at 5:30pm Bangladesh time and the winner of the game will be India’s opponents in the final on 28 September.

Bangladesh won against Afghanistan riding on Mustafizur’s last-over heroics.

Bangladesh best XI (probable): Liton Kumar Das, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mohammad Mithun, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Imrul Kayes, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (captain), Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nazmul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman.
