Dhaka Dynamites secured their second consecutive win in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), beating Khulna Titans by 105 runs at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Dhaka posted 192 runs losing six wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. Khulna lost nine wickets scoring 87 runs. Ali Khan, the USA recruit of the Titans was unable to bat as he hurt his leg during fielding.

Khulna's reply came to an end at the 13th over after losing three wickets in the over. Shakib Al Hasan, the Dynamites skipper, took three wickets and Sunil Narine grabbed two.

Junaid Siddique and Ariful Haque were the only batsmen to offer some resistance for Khulna. Junaid hit 31 off 16 while Ariful scored 19 runs.

Dhaka's Afghan recruit Hazratullah Zazai continued to perform well with the bat. He hit 57 off 36 balls.

Zazai and Sunil Narine added 67 runs in the opening stand for Dhaka and Rony Talukdar, Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell exploited the initial platform playing some handy innings.

Narine was the first batsman to get dismissed for Dhaka scoring 19 off 14 balls. He mistimed a Paul Stirling delivery that ended with a catch at mid-on by Al Khan.

Rony and Zazai added 43 runs in the second wicket stand. Rony felt for 28 off 18 balls. Khulna Titans captain Mahmudllah trapped Rony with a slow delivery. Ariful Haque took an easy catch at long-on to dismiss him.

After losing three wickets for 113, it was Shakib's responsibility to keep his side afloat with Zazai, but both of them fell in two Paul Stirling deliveries in succession.

Dhaka posted 147 in 15 overs. In the last five overs, they struck 45 runs.

David Wiese and Stirling took two wickets each for Khulna, while Ali Khan and Mahmudullah took one each.

Dhaka will face Rangpur Riders in their next match on 11 January at the same venue at 2:00pm while Khulna will take on Rajshahi Kings in their next match on 9 January at 5:20pm.
