Fifties from Paul Stirling and William Porterfield have left Ireland in a comfortable position in the final ODI of the Tri-Nation series on Wednesday.

The hosts have made 158 for 2 after 33.2 overs, with Stirling on 80 and Porterfield on 50.

Winning the toss, Ireland opted to bat first.

Pacer Abu Jayed grabbed his maiden ODI wicket on the day when he removed A Balbirinie who made 20.
