The Black Caps may be a little wary of Bangladesh after the match against South Africa. The tigers roared then, and now it’s the Black Caps turn to face them.

New Zealand's batting coach McMillan is still tight lipped about who is going to be in the Black Caps XI. We will get to know in due time, but their squad is showing good depth and there is confidence in Collin. Though it was a tough year for him last year, he is still smiling.

On the other side of Bangladesh, their confidence just got a terrific boost. They are looking to square the odds after 1999 when they were demolished by New Zealand. But in their opening match this time they played against South Africa and not only made history with their highest number of runs, 330, and replied strongly to South Africa not in words, but in their game. It is South Africa's first defeat in an opening match.

New Zealand and Bangladesh having won their first matches impressively, will both want to stamp their authority when they enter the cricket field.

There are people who say rain affects the Bangladesh players and one of the reasons of Bangladesh's impressive victory was that there wasn't any rainfall. But that is just an opinion.
