Mohammedan beat NoFeL SC, almost avoid relegation

Mohammedan Sporting Club defeated NoFeL Sporting Club by 3-1 goals in the 13-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) on Friday after recess of two days, reports UNB.

Malian forward Souleymane Diabate netted two goals and striker Mohammad Toklis Ahmed scored another one for Mohammedan while Khandokar Ashraful Islam scored the lone goal for NoFeL SC.

With the day's well-merited win, Mohammedan SC advanced to the 8th slot from 9th securing 23 points from 21 matches while NoFeL SC slipped to the 11th place with previous collection of 16 points from 21 matches.

This win has almost ensured that Mohammedan Sporting Club will avoid relegation.
