SA Games: Ardina clinches silver in shooting

Bangladeshi shooter Ardina Ferdous clinched silver medal scoring 234.6 points in the women's 10-metre air pistol shooting in the 13th South Asian Games at Satdobato Shooting Range in Nepalese city Lalitpuron Friday, reports UNB.

Shri Nivetha Parmanathan of India bagged gold medal scoring 238.4 and Anna Ibtisam of Pakistan bagged bronze medal scoring 214.9 points.

Bangladesh women's shooting team comprises Ardina Ferdous, Anjila Amjad Antu and Nilufa Yesmin secured bronze medal scoring 1655 points in women's 10-metre air pistol team.

Earlier, Bangladeshi famed shooter Abdullah Hel Baki bagged bronze medal in men's 10-metre air pistol and Bangladesh men's shooting team comprises Abdullah Hel Baki, Rabbi Hasan Munna and Robiul Islam secured bronze in men's 10-metre air pistol.

Another Bangladesh men's shooting team comprises Abdullah Hel Baki, Md Shovan Chowdhury and Md Yusuf Ali secured silver in the men's 50-metre rifle 3 position team.
