Men’s world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic said on Tuesday he and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus after taking part in a tennis exhibition series he organized.

The moment we arrived in Belgrade we went to be tested. My result is positive, just as Jelena’s, while the results of our children are negative.

“The moment we arrived in Belgrade we went to be tested. My result is positive, just as Jelena’s, while the results of our children are negative,” Djokovic said in a statement.

Djokovic, 33, becomes the fourth player to test positive after Grigor Dimitrov, Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki, who all played at Djokovic’s Adria Tour competition.

Bulgaria’s Dimitrov, the world number 19, announced on Sunday he had tested positive after pulling out of the event. Croatia’s Coric and Troicki of Serbia also revealed they had tested positive.
