JnU suspends 4 students for ragging

Jagannath University (JnU) authorities have suspended four students on charge of ragging a first year student of 2020-21 academic year, reports UNB.

The suspended students are Ankan Baul, Sabbir Ahmed, Abu Sufian and Rabbi. All of them are 12th batch (session- 2016-17) students of land management and law department, said a press release on Monday.

A three-member probe body was formed in this connection and it was asked to submit its report within the next 10 days. 


JnU proctor Mostofa Kamal was made convener of the probe body while the two others members are assistant proctor Md Jafar Iqbal and Shilpi Rani Saha.
