‘Gandhi Bhaban’ to be inaugurated in Chandpur

A newly constructed academic building named after Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, leader of Indian independence movement, will be inaugurated on Friday on the campus of Farakkabad Degree College in Sadar upazila.

The Indian Government financed the 4-storeyed building named as -'Gandhi Bhaban' on the College campus which was built at a cost of Tk 10.8 million .

The Indian High Commissioner in Bangladesh Harsh Vardhan Shringla will formally inaugurate the building as chief guest as already the construction of the 1st floor has been completed.
